I NAUTIX PAPER ON 19th JUNE AT COIMBATORE
Hi friends.” I NAUTIX “came for campus selection in our college(PSG TECH) on 19th june and I am very happy that i have been placed and became a member of INAUTIX family. At 5 pm they gave PPT(Pre Placement Talk ) very nice one among those I have attended so far . And They told some good points related to our growth and about company which drag my attention towards INAUTIX
those are
-----------à No concept like BENCH in INAUTIX
-----------àNo bonds like others
-----------àShoot a project and take money
-----------à 85 days training , We will sit on a project on 90 th day
-----------à Compensation is also very good(3 per annum).
The whole process consists of three rounds.
1)WRITTEN TEST 50 marks
2)GROUP DISCUSSION
3)INTERVIEW(Technical/HR)
first one is the written test which contains
1.QUANTITATIVE.
2.LOGICAL&ANALYTICAL REASONING.
3.VERBAL.
4.C QUESTIONS.
5.BASIC COMPUTER QUESTIONS.
Duration for the test period is 50 minutes and no.of questions is 50. The paper was not that much easy . Time seemed to be not sufficient. Regular practice can make u to finish it with the given time.so work out as many problems and u will feel it very easy.
Written started for us at 7:25 pm and finished at 8:15 pm results announced after 1 hour i.e around 9:30 pm Thank GOD my name was in that list (41 out of 180 )
I have appeared for 3 companies before INAUTIX(For INAUTIX I practiced more on C programming) so that practice helped me a lot and here new thing when compared to other companies is 15 questions from C so be prepare with this and they will ask outputs for a simple programs seems to be very easy but we cant judge the answer in that short period all answers seem to be same so practice well before going to exam
Refer the following books.
1.REASONING BOOK by R.S.AGARWAL.
2.QUANTITATIVE BOOK by R.S.AGARWAL.
3.LET US C by YASHWANT KANITKAR.
4.TEST UR C SKILLS by YASHWANT KANITKAR.
No.of.students appeared for written test : 180
No.of.students cleared written test: 41
Next round is Group Discussion. More no of students were eliminated in this round.
Only thing u have to do is be cool and confident. They will allot 10 students per batch. And they wikll allot time for us they have given 15 minutes .For me GD started at 9:30pm The topic given to our batch is 'CO EDUCATION IS BETTER OR NOT'. They will divide 10 students into 2 batches one batch has to speak positive (by saying yes) about the topic and one batch has to speak against (by saying NO) the topic .Fortunately I was in the infavour batch .
The main things to be followed in group discussion:
1.IF POSSIBLE TRY TO BE AN INITIATOR.
2.BE COOL & CONFIDENT.
3.MAKE SURE WITH THE VOICE MODULATION.
4.ALLOW OTHERS TO SPEAK,THATS MORE IMPORTANT.
5.KEEP EYE CONTACT WITH EVERYONE .
If u follow all these then u can feel comfort during group discussion.
After GD they will announce results. After GD,18 students were selected for the Technical+HR interview.
BY GOD GRACE I have been selected in GD also and they sadi interview is tomorrow (june 20th) so full night tension for me but I slept well and woke up at 7 pm and started preparing for interview interview was at 10:30 and we all went to interview at sharp 10:30 they started calling our names at 1:50 they called my name……….)
The next round is the technical+hr interview. In this round u have to be confident in ur area of interest , C programming and if u r an electrical student be confident with ur electrical and electronics basics. (for me HR is a nice person he tested my confidence and he has spoken very friendly . I have seen him in GD itself so some what familiar and his smile made me more comfortable in interview)
My interview went like this
ME : May I come in sir ?
HR : Yes come in
ME : Good after noon Sir (it was 2:30 pm )
HR: Good noon
HR : Hai Krishna , How r u?
ME : Fine , thank you sir.
HR : He saw my application form and asked Do you have your CV(Resume) with u ?
ME: Yes sir, ( I have given my Cv ).
HR : By seeing my first semester certificate( before that he asked to give my file ) he asked about subjects in that certificate
ME : I explained clearly .
HR : He asked my second semester certificate
ME : Got tense ( as I don’t have second sem certificate ) We don’t have second sem certificate sir results came two weeks back only ……
HR : But u should have at least a printed proof for your marks .
ME: Yes sir , I have print out copy for that (BY god grace I kept one print out in my file)
HR : By seeing that one he asked about subjects which I have covered in second semester)
HR: Ok, Krishna Why you are coming to Software field ?
ME : Explained nicely (as I have prepared before itself)
HR : Why should I hire you ? Tell me one reason ?
ME : Explained nicely like I am already proven achiever with my academic records and I don’t have year gaps I don’t have arrears in my life….
and my strengths like positive attitude , quick learner, able to work at any place at any time……..
HR : What is the difference between C and CPP?
ME : Explained all main points(like c is structured programming and cpp is OOPS based language and main features of cpp).
HR : What is polymorphism ?
ME : Ability to take more than one form . types are compile type polymorphism(Operator overloading , function overloading ) and run type polymorphism(Virtual functions)
HR : Ok nice Krishna , ALL THE BEST (With a smiley face )
ME : Thank u sir . (Left the room)
Don’t get tensed, be confident with ur answers and be honest. if u don’t know any answer just tell him that u don’t know.
Regarding C programming just go through some simple programs like
FIBANOCCI SERIES
FACTORIAL
REVERSE THE DIGITS or STRING
GENERATION OF PRIME NO
MATRIX MULTIPLICATION,......etc
Then we were asked to sit outside and we waited for the results. After an hour , one placement representative came and started announcing the names . By GOD GRACE my name was in that list and he called all of us in to another room there INAUTIX main HR said congrats to all of us and given some instructions
Totally 11 students got selected from our college and i am very happy that i am one of the 11. really i was very happy and thank GOD for giving me this opportunity. so friends have faith in GOD , work hard and success will be urs.......................................
Stay as cool as you could and that will fetch you the job... Don’t lose ur hopes at any time
All the very best!!!
With best wishes,
KITTU……
MEET U ALL IN INAUTIX.................

11 …. 12…. 13….. 14…… 15…… sorry I couldn’t remember….but they where simple…
G.D:
Since short listed were less in number they canceled group discussion for us…
Technical and HR interview:
Since I am an ECE student both interviews where like an HR interview and some questions on my basics and area of interest…
All where simple question no need to get worry…..all ways give your answer with confidence….some questions were asked from apti too which u had already written they will ask to solve it..

1st section = Comprehension which contains 5 question on words comparison like if water:glass then which of the foll. suits the most to the situation...they were EASy questions.
next 5 questions were from passage reading...they were VERY EASY.....
2nd section was data interpretation....R.S aggarwal (Quant) is sufficient for this section.they asked questions on pie chart and bar graphs...
3rd section was QUANT....no ned to worry bout this...it can be solved if u have good concentration....questions were like
time b/w a-->b == 2 hrs
a-->c ==1.5 hrs...
b ==> ==3 hrs...
and some data was given...then we were asked 5 questions on the topic to solve...they r easy but time consuming
next 5 questions were also very easy ,.......they can be solved on finger tips...
section 4 is of logical reasoning....
Question were very simple
questions on coding like if "like = qmfg" then "kiel" will be coded as ???? ANS=fmgq
rest questions on time and distance and clock angle.......
last section was of simple quant and R.S Aggarwal is suffiecient for this section....you just need to manage your time.........
Late night the result was declared at 11:00 and by GOD's grace i cleared the written...we were called for the technical and H.R interview the next day at 9:00 A.M...We had ppt for some hour an so and we were reqiured to fill up an application blank and have to submit a copy of latest resume....
At last i was called for technical interview at 9:30 P.M (after 12 long hours......).
the lady was very very nice ...she told me a bout herself and the product in which they deal...then my interview started.....
Intr:Diff. b/w synchoronous and asynchoronous systems
Me:synchoronous uses clock and asynchoronous dont use clock...
Intr: What is micro processor....
Me:a clock drven multiprogrammable device......
Intr: Where have you done your training ?
Me:I gave each and every detail of my profile during training and convinced her that i learnt something during my trainig.
then we just had some casuall talks regarding my family background and y i wanted to come onto the IT industry....(i m a communication student)
H.R was simple...they just check your attitute and confidence...........just go in talk to them as if they are your friend....
TIP:just be cool there they are just lookin for the ppl having confidence and ready to to do hard work....
the result was declared on the college web site next morning at 9:30 and i was very happy to c my name in the final list of 72 selected students.....
appeared = around 1000
cleared writeen = 199
finally selected = 72.

iFlex Placement Paper-16th MAY AT BANGALORE
Hi friends,.....
I am from mechanical engineering background. I got into Iflex today. thx to those cool interviewers. I will suggest you to know finance, banking very well before going to Interview.
Firstly there was aptitude test at 10PM. it was for 1 hour and had 50 questions with negative marking( so be careful, answer only those you know). I attempted 42 and scored 30 (Sneaked during HR interview!) It had same pattern as previous papers. Comprehension, data interpretation, logical reasoning, numerical analysis. It was the easiest one compared to infy, TCS, merit track papers.
After test we had PPT for 45 minutes. It ended at 12.30. Then they announced results at 1 pm. 65 got through. and i was 1 among them. then we had to fill up the application forms.
Then interview started at 2.00. technical interview was first. They called me in at 3.30. ALWAYS REMEMBER "first impression is the best impression". So they were expecting you to knock the door, ask permission. I was wearing cream shirt ,black pant and black shoes (thats d best formals for any interview). Then i went in shook his hand and said " good afternoon ,sir"
Int: Tell me abt urself
Me: stammered a lot
Int: ur family background
Me: (i realized that i had skipped to tell about my family background, i dunno whether he was listening to me or not coz he was writing down something)
Int: what r d subjects u r studying in this semester?
Me: ( i dunno what stuck my head, that was totally unexpected 1, i told only 2 subjects, i was thinking god c'mmon which r the remaining, then suddenly someone came in and gave the interviewer a cup of coffee. thx god for sending him in Perfect timing).
I was still coninuing to tell 1 by 1. i said MECHATRONICS at last)
Int: what did you studied in mechatronics ?
Me: sensors, transducers, actuactors, microprocessors sir
Int: where r those microprocessors used in real life?
Me: they are used in ECU's of automobiles, washing machines , refrigerators.sir
Int: whats their role in refrigerators?
Me: ( surely, i dint know the correct answer,) sir there will be some some sensors in refrigerator that will sense temperature inside the refrigerator, after sensing the temperature it will send the info to microprocessor. microprocessor will compare it with desired temperature, if it is more or less, then it will increase or decrease the temperature inside the refrigerator
Int: How? how microprocessor reduce temperature?
Me: (Hoof! how? I thought whatever i may tell, right or wrong, lemme tell confidently) sir, microprocessor will reduce the voltage supplied to the cooler, so there will be less cooling and obviously temperature inside the refrigerator will increase.
Int: solve this problem(he gave a sheet of paper, on it was this problem) 7 ltrs of water at 900c and 3 ltrs of water at 600c are mixed and what will be the final temperature at steady state? ( he then started to write comments on me on application form, i was acting like thinking, but actually i was looking at the comments he was writing down, he wrote good attitude, good ???, fair verbal skill)
Me:( i wrote V1T1=V2T2 ) around 75-80 sir.
Int: How?
Me: Coz water at 90c is more in quantity, so it doesn't reduce much.
Int: Wat if water at 60c is more?
Me: it will b come down to 65-70
Int: Wat if both r of same quantity?
Me: It will be around 70-75
Int: Ok,do u know C?
Me:s sir
Int: Where it is practically used?
Me: (remember I-flex provide solutions to banking domain only) sir, it can be used to find interest and to program many other banking related problems
Int: calculate interest for Rs.10k for 9months @ 5% RI
Me: ( wrote down the formula SI=PTR/100, and solved it)
Int: If u r given to program a banking software, what r d things u r going to collect from customer?
Me: Told abt interest rate, period, principal amount
Int: Dont u ask his name first?
Me: (both laughed)s sir, i will ask his DOB, place, nationality, age, occupation. they are all primary things
Int:: Do u have any questions?
Me: Asked him abt training
Then was HR round and lasted only for few seconds. The guy who gave PPT took me HR. He had said that we are looking for enthusiastic candidates during d PPT. when he called me out, i went in and he asked me to be seated. This is the time that i saw my aptitude test paper. Always keep a smile in HR interview. He came back n started seeing my application form
Int: y is it ur marks decreasing?
Me: I tried my level best sir...but....
Int: (angrily) c, dont give such answers yaar
Me: (dint say anything kept smiling)
Int: Whats d difference between C n C++ ?
Me: explained
Int: any questions?
Me: (thats it?) ah .. s... sir.. again asked d dame question ant training and dragged it.
Int: explained n said improve ur presentation skill,

Int: Whats d difference between C n C++ ?
Me: explained
Int: any questions?
Me: (thats it?) ah .. s... sir.. again asked d dame question ant training and dragged it.
Int: explained n said improve ur presentation skill,
Me: I will certainly do sir. when r u going to announce d results, sir?
Int: I will call you (!!!) or i will inform placement officer, it was very nice talking to you, thx
